Great small hotel in walking distance to downtown. Staff was nice and helpful. Uppsala is very enjoyable and the Swedes are very warm and friendly people.

Located 1.4 km from Gränbystaden shopping centre, ArenaHotellet i Uppsala features a restaurant, bar and views of the city. Free private parking is available on site subject to availability. Out of 7 accomodations that I stayed in Sweden, this seems to have the best price for what it offers. Comfortable and clean rooms, big windows, delicious breakfast, free parking, modern atmosphere and friendly staff. Warmly recommend it.

Elite Hotel Academia is located in central Uppsala, a 1-minute walk from Uppsala Central Station. Guests can enjoy the rooftop sky bar with city views. Everything! You can not imagine how much it was perfect. The breakfast, the room, facilities, well coming, free gym and sauna. Location. Price. We travel too much and it was one of the best experience of us in staying a hotel. Especially in Sweden.

Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. This is a lovely hotel in a charming and well kept building. The staff at reception were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive and very comfortable and the location in town was just great -- in the charming old section very near to the cathedral and other attractions. All at an excellent price!

The hotel is very well decorated, every single detail reflected the harbour sea. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great
