Staff are great, they allowed us to keep our bags behind reception after check out until we left for our late night flight. We were even able to use a shower after checking out which was great (free if you have your own towel or 50 Baht per towel). Nice comfortable common areas too.

Upon my arrival, observing that I was perspiring profusely (I'd walked from the railway station) the male reception staff immediately offered and served me a cup of cold water. I was assigned a bed before official check in time. The same staff informed me he had assigned me a bed in an all female room (instead of one in a mixed gender room which I had booked). My train out of BKK was at 2230hr. The hostel allowed me to stay in the lobby till it is time to leave, I was allowed to use the shower to freshen up. A fresh towel was offered for my use too! It was great that the hostel has a coffee machine (free coffee!) and water vending machine in the lobby.
