Two of the villas have a double room and a mezzanine with 2 single beds, and direct ocean views, while the other has a double bedroom and ocean view from the private terrace. Each units has a kitchen, a living room including a cable TV and a sofa bed. everything just great, only the bed could be harder

It was the best holiday of my life.

The Lagoa do Fogo is one of the island’s most famous tourist spots. It has lush green surroundings, several hiking trails around it and is one of the largest lagoons in all of the Azores. It is a 30-minute drive from the Ponta Delgada centre, which has a historical city centre, bars cafés and local shops. The unit is 500 metres from a beach area and there is a commercial area just 100 metres away, with a variety of shops. Everything from the warm, personalized welcome you get, the impeccable monastery to the incredible breakfast. Everything was beyond my expectations. We will be back for sure!

A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores.

The Quinta’s rooms are decorated in a sober way and include a cable TV. Each includes its own private bathroom. The property offers views of the mountains and the coast. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.
