A very kind host, who is in the same house, and who gave us a lot of useful tips on places of interest nearby (there is a park and hills 500 m away from where you can see a magnificent sunset and a fabulous, sensational view from above of almost all of Madrid). There are many good inexpensive cafes and restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner, and supermarkets. To the metro on foot is 5 minutes, direct metro line and 5-7 stops i.e. 15 minutes to the center of Madrid (Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Sol etc.). The apartment is located in area where working people live, so the area is not noisy. But the house itself is 2 classes higher as for simple workers, suits or either tourists or businessman, for either young or old.. The house is located at the small side street are, thanks to it there is silent, non-criminal, safe, but in any case the police department is at the other street 100 meters away. We walked day and night, and never felt any danger.
