The front desk staff was amazing. They were all very kind, and very helpful! I also liked that there were plenty of staff in the lobby that verified people were guests before getting to the elevators.

Amazing location in Midtown Manhattan right near Grand Central Station. Rooms are very small but was fine as a solo traveller; it was clean and the bed was comfy. Plus you don't come to New York to stay in your room all day! The pizza place around the corner is a must-try and the deli across the street is great :)

Superb location, friendly staff and rooms are exactly what’s needed for a city break. I WOULD IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. On arrival we were met but a relatively small queue and it didn’t take long to get served. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Selka who upgraded our room to a King. We were also only charged £100 deposit instead of the standard £50 per day. Note you get this back pending no issues with the room. I read loads of reviews before we went to NYC and people are slating the rooms. I’m not sure what you want from the middle of Times Square without paying an absolute fortune. Yes the rooms are dated and have issues but you sleep and shower in them that’s it. The beds are comfy and they’re cleaned daily. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay for a short break I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

The location was great. The room, despite being too small, and the bathroom were renovated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view of the Empire State Building.
