Good sized room and ensuite with the facilities we had sought - kettle, safe, fridge. Location excellent, facing waterfront, on edge of old town and two minutes from train station. Excellent breakfast with a very wide choice. Bishop's Head pub was integral to hotel and a useful bolthole for an affordable evening meal, though somewhat limited choice. Staff were very professional.

The best areas to stay in Malmö, Sweden, are Västra Hamnen for its modern architecture and beach, and Gamla Staden for its historic charm. Both are centrally located, offering easy access to attractions and amenities.
I really liked my first time in Sweden. The people seem very friendly, there is a lot to see, and I was lucky to have amazing weather during the entire trip.
Malmö is quite big, so while you can walk everything, it may be more comfortable to get a day pass for the public transport. I walked on average 20 km each day, which may have been less if I had made a concrete plan on which route to go, but I tend to go with the flow - and there's a lot of flow in Malmö.
The Disgusting Food Museum was fun, if you're into some out of the ordinary things to do, but there are also plenty of other museums, churches, and things to see in every street.
The city is a little bit dirty, but not outrageously so, and it's quite fresh as it is located directly next to the see. The beach is nice too, there's a beach for dogs, and space to swim.
I also spent one day in Lund, which is really easy to reach and an extremely nice University town with some great churches and architecture. I thought I could do this in a few hours, but I could have spent the entire day there.
I feel like I could come back for another week and still discover more things in both places, so I will definitely be returning.

Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited. Firstly, the surroundings are very nice. The city has a beach, many parks, much of restaurants, museums, activity friendly places. Secondly, everyone is really nice and relaxed and the overall vibe is home-like. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants a short or even long city break.

An interesting city and the 'Cathedral' - St Petri - is a stunning building with what is said to be the largest organ in Scandinavia. Certainly well worth a visit. The various squares with restaurants are cosy and fun. The live music bar (Irish themed) called Fagan's was fun and full of atmosphere. The 'Folk & Rock' bar/live music house in the Lilla Torg square was full of memorabilia and whilst we didn't see the band playing there that night, we went for a coffee after church the following day.
We wanted to visit so much more, but sadly we didn't have the time.

A visit to the artificial island of Universitetsholmen near the train station offers the opportunity to get architectural and musical impressions from Malmö Live.
A walk through Kungsparken and a jump into the city library „Stadtsbibliothek“ with its bright furnitures and ground floor windows that let in the green colors of the park show a calm sight of the city.
The Malmö Konstmuseum offers insights into Swedish art and is a good retreat in its natural surroundings.
Helsingborg with its harbour and cultural center including a visit at Olsons skafferi with its Italian athmosphere is a good option for a one-day trip.
And an evening in Øresundsparken with view to Øresund bridge is a nice final impression.

If you have time rent a bike and ride trough the city.
If you have time rent a bike and ride trough the city. Wonderful experience. On the Central station (level just below Bus station) there is a rent-a-bike store. They are very friendly and price is great. We enjoyed it .
A warm welcome by the host Gazale. Everything felt very family-like and with great engagement. The kitchen is very clean and travellers can leave their food that they do not want to carry with them and mark it as 'Free to use' for others, which I like a lot..
A nice, standard breakfast buffet, that satisfies most flavours.
I stayed during off-season with only a few guests, but hope the standard it's the same during high season.
I definitely will return to this hotel on my next stay in Malmö.
"Staying at Moment Hotels Malmo was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The room was impeccably clean, modern, and exuded a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing easy access to the city's attractions and transportation. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, offering excellent recommendations and assistance whenever needed.
Location is great, in the centre of Malmo, just off Gustav Adolfs Torg and Lilla Torg. Breakfast buffet was excellent. All the usual stuff but a few surprising extras too and all great quality. Dinner was provided too - simple but tasty buffet with a few main options and lot of salads. Afternoon fika (pastries and coffee) was also included. Room was fairly spacious and nicely furnished. Very comfortable. Excellent blackout blinds (essential in Sweden in summer).
During my stay at the Quality Hotel View in Malmo, I found the breakfast to be the most impressive aspect of the hotel. The selection of food was very complete and I enjoyed the variety of hot and cold options available. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, and freshly brewed coffee and tea. The quality of the food was also very good and everything was well-prepared and nicely presented.
The room was very large by European standards. The bathroom as well. Rooms were well cooled and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is wonderfully complete, everything you could ask for from fresh Omelets to the yogurt bar.
Hotel is about 2 blocks from train station, making it a perfect place to hop over to Copenhagen. The old town of Malmo is about a 10 minute walk with plenty of restaurants around the square.
Location was perfect for walking around (hotel is right off lilla torg and stor torg, walking distance to several cafes and restaurants, and only 15 minute walk from Malmo Centralstation) , staff were very nice and helpful, very nice facilitates. Breakfast provided on site was awesome and had a lot of options to chose from.
I have stayed at the Tunneln before and l would always stay there when visiting Malmö.
As it is not a chain hotel it has an individual feel. I love the artwork and the library where you can entertain friends and even make them a drink.
The breakfast room in the arches is wonderful as is the breakfast itself.
We really enjoy our stay in The More Hotel. The location great, near Malmo Central Station and in a peaceful neighborhood. The flats were clean and well equiped. We especially appreciated the sauna room and the delicious breakfasts. We will definitely come back to this place the next time we visit Malmo.
Hotel in a great spot , near to the train station and city centre main area. We were able to go back to the hotel and out again in the evening. Within walking distance. Facilities all very good, nice breakfast buffet and helpful staff. If I ever go to Malmo again I would stay again.
Everything exceeded our expectations, our stay was absolutely wonderful from the staff to the room to the breakfast. The breakfast was ASTOUNDING, I'll dream about the meatballs forever. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in Malmo!
Stayed a single night in relation to a visit in Malmö. In this regard Moment was the perfect hotel. Very centrally located, super efficient and comfortable rooms. It's a "no-nonsense" hotel, but if this what you're looking for, Moment surely delivers.
The Hotel is perfectly located in Malmo. Quiet and clean rooms. Fresh towels and bathroom with plenty og toiletries. Excellent varied and fresh breakfast, presented to look inviting. Compliments to the kitchen. Charming staff.Thankyou.
Cheap especially for a private room and had availability short notice on the weekend, good public facilities including shared kitchens, lounges and bathrooms. Nice staff and easy to enter and exit the building.
The location was perfect to reach Copenhague's airport on time without the hazzle of finding a reasonable hotel in that city and instead had the opportunity to get to know Malmö... which is a great city!
Lovely hotel and staff. Brilliant location right in the centre of Malmo. Rooms spacious, very quiet and good view of a central square. Breakfast superb and set us up for the day.
Location short walking distance from Malmo old Town, size of room ( very spacious), very helpful and nice staff, calm and no noises heard during our stay, hotel clean in general.
Hotel accommodation is expensive in Sweden. Taking this into account, the price-quality ratio was correct. Breakfast could be better and more diverse. Good base to visit Malmö.
