Staff at the restaurant are very kind. They provided us hot water (twice) free of charge, while in comparison other places typically charge 1 euro. The pilgrim meal was very reasonably priced (12 euro pp), and breakfast was excellent value too.

Very comfortable and quiet apartment in a farmhouse in a superb position high up in the mountains. Great cycling and walking routes from the door. Convenient for a day visit to Pamplona.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early. No A/C in hotel but it cools off every evening and we opened windows after sunset and room cooled quickly. If you sleep hot like us ask for a sheet. Enjoyed dinner we had the daily menu and enjoyed all great options it was 3 courses for 22 euros each. Also make reservations.
Enjoy!

This hotel in an old monastery is wonderful - all modern inside but tastefully done with lovely lighting - stone floors in the reception- very accurate photos from the pictures I had the feeling it was very rural but in fact was on a main road and on a hairpin bend but despite that I didn’t hear much traffic It’s spotlessly clean and the surrounding area is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend
If you’re walking the Camino, this is a truly excellent place to stay. It is the first Hostel you’ll walk past once you descend the mountain… after the first day (from St Jean) you will honestly need a comfortable bed, clean room, good meal, and friendly staff… I can say this Hotel has all of the above. Eider, in particular, is a hard-working saint whom will always try to help you. In addition, I found the Bar staff to be very friendly, and it was a real bonus they could speak English!
We were stopping one night after having done 2 nights in hostels on the camino, coming from St Jean des pieds. We'd booked the hotel as the hostel which is attached to the hotel was full. It was great. Helpful staff, delicious 3 course dinner for 25euro, wonderful clean and spacious apartment. The hotel, a former monastery was wonderful respite and a treat after 2 difficult days of walking.
Hosteria Sabina is very good. It serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The rooms have good television and Wifi. Many pilgrims start the Spanish Road here. In Roncesvalles you may still experience the old "Camino de Santiago", much more than later on during your long walk! (Buses almost daily from Pamplona).
There are not many choices at Roncevalles but the Posada was a good compromise for price vs comfort. The rooms were fine and welcoming after the walk from St Jean. Slept well. There was another hotel that looked excellent but was more expensive and in any case full. Our luggage was delivered to outside our doors.
Everything! Beautiful hotel in an old building from the 18thC—very beautifully decorated, a grand hallway, a spare but elegant room with a wonderful bed, clean, comfortable and quiet—a great sleep. Very good restaurant for dinner and. a good breakfast. I loved this hotel—highly recommend!
The building was very grand and beautiful. The room was very spacious, complete with a small kitchen. The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous! All staff were friendly. Perfect place to stay after the 1st day of the camino.
Beautiful old building which has been tastefully decorated. We booked dinner in the hotel which was fantastic value & really good quality food. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Would highly recommend
This hotel is a mixture of old and quaint on the outside and in dining areas, and modern in the bedrooms. It was a perfect stay for us after coming off of a hard day of hiking the Camino.
Good hotel and restaurant at the start of the pilgrim road in Spain. (Travelers coming from far should book well ahead in Roncesvalles and neighborhood.) Check the bus time schedule!
A superb hotel, impeccably clean, friendly staff, terrific cuisine, absolutely awesome. The building is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are amazing, you will LOVE it!
This hostel was very nice & I enjoyed having the restaurant downstairs! They welcome pilgrims every day! Only a few places to stay & eat in this village! I’d return!
Room very good and restaurant excellent. Only a few meters from the monastry in Roncesvalles. excellent pilgrims menu in restaurant and breakfast option available.9
Very nice hotel in the beautiful old building, comfortable rooms, we could rest well after the long day of hiking from Saint Jean Pies de Port .
Good breakfast.
