Located in a 1950’s neo colonial mansion, this stylish hotel offers elegant accommodation in central Salta. It features a roof top outdoor pool and a gym with cardio-fitness activities.

The tastefully furnished rooms of the Solar De La Plaza combine modern amenities, such as satellite TV and air-conditioning, with the décor of the old mansions. Each room includes a bath and a selection of bathroom amenities. There is work desk and Wi-Fi is available for free.

Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I preferred it in person vs the photos. The room they gave me looked onto a little courtyard. It was spacious and bright. The staff were all very friendly. Location was super central and close to everything (be it city center or walking to San Bernardino. Only point to note, neither here nor there but for the day the rooms get updated - might be good to add a USB port or two to the rooms for charging electronics. I was only carrying one travel adapter (my own fault really) which mean that most days I had to choose between having my phone charged or having my camera charged.

    The apartment was great. Very clean and lots of supplies and equipment. Things like washing up liquid and even tea was available which I think is a great touch. The studio room was perfect for a solo traveller and could have been suitable for a couple too. The location is walking distance to the centre and within the tour pick up zones. Really recommend for an easy, simple stay. There’s a gym available, terrace and a pool (shaded all day)

    What are great and comfortable stay in Salta! They room is huge, spotless clean and in a very old and big house only a 10 min.walk to they center of Salta. A quick and cheap laundry is also in walking distance. Emilia is such a nice hosts who prepares every morning a nice breakfast at what ever time you need it. I definetly come back to Emilias place whenever i will be back to Salta!

    There’s something lovely about good, old fashioned Hotel Management! This hotel is in a great location and has all the services you’d need - it’s very well run. Our room was nice and large and clean. It’s ideal to wander around central Salta during the day and up to Calle Balcarce restaurants and bars at night.

    The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/c was excellent and rooms had easy to use safe boxes. The location was a couple of blocks from the main square and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.

    Great location and place for a short stay in Salta. The room we had faced the road, so it was a little noisy in the evening/morning. The check in process was super easy and the room was very clean.

    Really beautiful house, very clean. Host was nice and flexible. The bathroom is really nice. We were able to use the washing machine in the house which was helpful. Location seemed good, it was cheap to get taxis to the centre, you need to walk a little to find a taxi though. There is a bus going past the house but we didn't try it.
