I'm going to hijack this space to promote the Rotterdam Marathon, since that's why I was there. I've run 20 marathons now and this is one of the very best. The city comes ALIVE out on the streets and the crowds are SO supportive of runners, constantly encouraging individual runners by name (printed on bibs) throughout the entire race. Thank you Rotterdam for such a great experience! And for any marathon runners who read this, you really need to run this race and visit this city!

Rotterdam is a good base to stay to visit the south west side of Netherlands. Very very windy city tho... the winds could move my travel stroller even w my baby in it, lol.
We completed Rotterdam in a day, with a visit to the maritime museum. Markthall is pretty, but thats about it. We enjoyed Denhague a lot.

It is a very interesting city from an architectural point of view. Old is mixed with new and the new buildings are mostly very special.

Overall the city of Rotterdam, is very easy to get around as there is a great transport network there. Unless you are traveling very late at night or very early in the morning the frequency of the buses, metro and trams is very good. There are lots of places to eat and drink. If you just want to sample a few places then I would recommend going on a food and drink tour (There are lots of different tours you can do in Rotterdam) One of the best ways to see Rotterdam city center is by bike. If you are looking to see the city as a whole then I would recommend the metro. Rotterdam has lots to offer. This includes various bike and walking tours, markets, museum's, Zoo's and Architecture

I chose Rotterdam as a good base to see several towns in the region. But in hindsight, I would not do this again and would not recommend it. It's not a destination city. Yes, some cool architecture, but also tons of ugly buildings and generic shopping. If I had it to do over again, I would have booked those 6 nights in Leiden, which we loved!

Good city to visit, an hour by train from Amsterdam.
Good city to visit, an hour by train from Amsterdam. Not overrun with tourists, friendly locals who nearly all speak good English, so no problem making yourself understood. Lots of interesting architecture, nice coffee places with pastries and cookies available, Dutch apple tart a speciality.
Great location, easily walkable to the major sites of Rotterdam. When we were feeling cold (and wet) afterwards, there's a tram stop minutes away. I'd always wanted to stay in a capsule hotel, and this was an excellent place to try it out! Traveling in a couple, I'm not sure I'd have wanted to spend more than one or two nights there though. Would probably feel a bit cramped after a while. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the free lockers were convenient as we arrived in Rotterdam before the check-in time.
Really well equipped accommodation in a perfect location for city centre. It is more of an apartment than a hotel but excellent nonetheless. Really close to Metro Rotterdam Beurs, direct link from Hook of Holland ferry or Rotterdam Central train station. Contact from host Natasja was excellent, attentive and welcoming. Even have some sight seeing tips. Highly recommend property for an easy stay. Equipped kitchen so could self cater if wanted. Would happily use this accommodation again if visiting.
Great hotel in the heart of the city with nice and helpful staff members. Rooms are nice and clean. Air condition worked perfectly. Breakfast available in the bar area, at the weekends until 12 which is a big advantage for those who want to sleep a bit longer. Nice welcome from the manager at the reception. Location is perfect too, everything is close, there is a nice bars area just 10 min walk from the hotel. I'll come back there for sure if I'm next time in Rotterdam.
The rooms have a minimalist, contemporary, black and gray look. They are spacious, comfortable and quiet with high quality drapes and a great shower. The hotel is an easy 10-15 minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal station on Weena Ave. It offers to store your bags. There is complimentary mint water, tea and coffee ( and fresh fruits outside breakfast hours) in lobby. You can rent bikes from the hotel.
The room is styled very modern including the bathroom. Nice rain shower with reliable hot water unless you stand underneath it for 30 minutes. (but why would you)
The room was clean, comfortable beds, and the location gives direct access to every part of the Rotterdam's city centre.
Needed a last minute hotel, so stumbled on this one by accident. Will be my "go-to" from now on.
The staff was very kind, welcoming and professional, in particular the receptionists!
The location of the hotel was perfect since it was in Mintstraat, basically in Rotterdam city center.
The room was clean and recently renovated.
In the future I would definitely come back to it when looking for hotels in Rotterdam, since I’ve found it as a reliable place were to stay.
Great location if attending the Rotterdam Ahoy - about a 15/20 minute walk.
Whilst it looks outdated and tired on the outside, the inside of the hotel is very nice and the bar area/reception were comfortable and social.
Large selection of beers in the reception area downside.
Large room with very modern bathroom and a great shower.
Amazing place to stay in Rotterdam. Very well located in the center of the city (Beurs). Everything is walking distance, and it's very close to an Albert Hein (supermarket) where you can get groceries for breakfast, dinner or appetizers. The apartments are well equipped and the views are stunning. They have paid parking and welcome coffee.
I liked the hotel in general
Quite place
Brillant staff
Comftable room
Good location in the city centre, just 10 minutes walk to Rotterdam train station.
Alot of restaurants, bars and various shops in the vicinity of the hotel
Would highly reccomand it and will definitly be back
Great new hotel right in Rotterdam city centre in a recently renovated building. A great new addition to the city's places to stay. Clean, comfortable, conveniently close to public transport inside and out of the city. Staff are friendly and professional.
We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Owner was very friendly and helped us get around the city, he showed us where we should go and i must say that if we visit Rotterdam again in future, we know where we will head for a comfortable hotel. :-)
Location of this hotel is fantastic, it’s close to all main attractions in Rotterdam and the view from our waterfront room was amazing. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the sauna in our bathroom was great.
Brilliant hotel, didn't even need to go into Rotterdam proper. Food court connected downstairs with bar, table tennis and 10+ different cuisines. Spent the time in that area for the most part, didn't see much of Rotterdam, no regrets.
Great breakfast 14.50 Euros or free if you tag @Rotterdam_Teleport in an insta street art selfie.
Free tea, coffee, hot water 24/7
Reception 24/7
Bike hire direct from the hotel.
Dining/tv area and adjoining 'lounge'
Stylish hotel with a clean and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly and they even gave me a small gift as they had spotted it was my birthday when checking in. In a great location for exploring Rotterdam.
A real boutique hotel, located in the city centre of Rotterdam. Great location, but without the touristic vibe and atmosphere. They also serve great coffee and pastries at their coffee / giftshop downstairs.
i love the location! The metro is just beside the hotel. Their view from the windows is the best. I can see the river and beautiful city. The best part is there are three single bed in my room. I love it!
Their slogan says it all: "Like the price, love the design". This no frills hotel is a wonderful hub to visit downtown Rotterdam with a lot of sights to see in walking distance.
