We had only one breakfast - which was delicious. Our room was very comfy - the staff were friendly and helpful. WE greatly enjoyed our stay.

The lady at Reception was so helpful and friendly, giving very useful advice on us exploring the area. Her very accurate description of the route to the coast from the hotel was spot-on! She knew who we were before we gave our names - her attention to guests was an exemplar others could learn from (other hotels, not La Barbarie!) The restaurant personnel were very helpful with checking my daughter's long list of allergies and understanding of her travel-sickness, making sensible recommendations for settling her stomach. We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble, all questions were answered comprehensively and we felt in safe hands.

Wonderful quiet room, very comfortable with brilliant sea view. Staff very helpful and attentive. Pool was lovely. Great afternoon tea with an old friend sitting on the terrace in the sunshine.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of hot/cold choices. Clean well positioned swimming pool. Great on a hot day. Evening meals very good value for money, and plenty of choices. We'll stocked bar.
