The cottages/huts inside the warehouse are awesome... the fisherman's decor theme is fantastic. Almost a childhood kind of reminiscent place.. Karla is a helpful and generous host and provides good tea coffee provisions.

Amazing location and amazing studio to spend some time. The whole place is really comfortable, wonderful to be able to go into the sauna after a nice day out in the region. Really close to the boat to Schiermonnikoog, what makes it easier to visit the island. Katja was really helpful with everything, she sent a guide with places to eat, and visit, and has information about the things happening in the surroundings. She was very kind and available to answer all questions we had. Wonderful stay, we would love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. We were greeted by our host on arrival, with fresh juice and fruit bread. She was so lovely and friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Our room was lovely and clean with a large ensuite with bath and separate shower. We slept so well as the beds were so comfortable. We had such delicious breakfasts with the best cheese we've tasted!

The stuff is friendly in the Frisian way, it means no yakketi-yack and unnecessary chin music. Beds and furniture are plain and comfortable, explanations will be two syllabic and comprehensible. Bathroom fitment is nothing special but functional. Everything is neat and fresh. The garret rooms ain't hot even though at the time I visited it was quite torrid outside. About the degree of their beds' comfort nothing can I say as I'm extremely unpretentious in this regard. Anything that is not flint hard or jelly soft is comfortable for me. I suppose it's just good if I'm not bleating about it.
