It is a good place to visit football match.
It is a good place to visit football match. The centre of the city is for one day. Very good local transport (trams), the top is near the hotel.
Very good place, if you want to visit more form this part of England. Perfect train connection for one day trip to Liverpool, York, Chester or Nottingham. Very good connection to Wales (Conwy, Anglesey) and easy to get the Isle of Man by plane from the Manchester Airport. Very good but big Shopping Centre Trafford. Around the hotel calm and fine quorter the Salford Quays full of international restaurant, pubs and shops. By tram it is couple of minutes to Deansgate Castlefield part, where is also nice walk around river channels and to visit some fine local restaurant or pub.

A very up and coming city, when we ventured into the city it didn’t seem all that busy, we did a nice river cruise, we were guided through the history of the docks. Wear a jacket of some sort it can get chilly in areas. A visit to the Shambles square is a must to view the medieval and Tudor architecture, The Old Wellington Inn (which serves gorgeous food by the way) built perhaps in 1552, just after King Henry VIII reign..and Sinclair’s Oyster Bar is adjoined, but built much later, late seventeenth early eighteenth century, interesting read if you Google ‘Shambles’
This hotel is an iconic landmark in Manchester, beautifully carpeted throughout i paid a good price for the stay, I found the staff jazeel and vedha and 1 other shift manager very polite and helpful, reading some of the reviews on this place I thought maybe I was staying at a different hotel? My room was a very good decent size very clean plenty of tea coffee extra towels etc bath and shower, I would certainly stay again and would certainly recommend anyone thinking of staying in Manchester to do with no hesitation
I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past month and will hopefully be returning every time I travel to Manchester. I used to stay at either the Hilton hotels or Premier Inn if I was staying for the whole week due to the price but this hotel just has everything I need, it's nice and clean and the staff are lovely.
There's room service (although I haven't used it yet), the location is ideal with sainsburys and tesco just a short walk away as well as other food stores and the room has such lovely character to it.
Central location which is ideal for city stays, business, events/venues, work etc with the hotel being virtually right next to the train station and a few minute walk into the city center.
The reception staff were accommodating and friendly.
The room as they have been with every Motel One I've stayed in were clean and well presented.
I got a nice view of the old fire station directly opposite which was great to see up close and personal some of Manchester's historical architecture!
Fabulous surprise to find such a comprehensive array of things to help make a stay comfortable in the room. The design and styling were also first rate and for the first time in a UK City centre hotel managed to get a goo night's sleep with the very comfortable bed and pillows and air condition that worked quietly. Just goes to prove that a UK offer can be just as good as the best on the continent. Location of course being so central perfect. Well done, we will be back!
It was clean, comfortable, the staff were lovely and really helpful when asked about or for anything. And the hotel is- literally- in the centre of Manchester city centre in Piccadilly gardens where it's really noisy but you don't hear anything in the hotel. As a woman who was alone, i felt totally safe.which is another massive plus as any female traveller will know. Highly recommend.
The Nui Room exceeded my expectations considerably. It was great value for money. I stayed one night to watch Manchester City play football. You can walk from the hotel to the stadium (about 2 km's). The rooms were very good and the location is about 1.5km's from the centre of Manchester so an easy walk. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a great value for money; £15 a person got me and my partner a bed and bathroom on the same day as we booked. The main thing we liked was the location - Salford is just a 25 minute tram ride from Manchester city centre, and the tram station is a two-minute walk from the hotel.
Hotel was perfect re location. Very close to First Street and a short walk from city centre.
Hotel is basic but nice. Staff were lovely and the food in the bar was amazing. Slightly overpriced but it’s central Manchester.
Excellent hotel for what we was using it for! We used it to stay over night in the city centre before catching a Uber into Manchester airport. It was in the centre of Manchester perfect location for a little night out.
Location was excellent for our needs, the hotel, was clean, comfortable and with good facilities. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. I would certain use this hotel again when in Manchester.
Went to a Gig at Manchester Arena.
Hotel was pretty central to the city centre can't fault value and location close to everything really. Beds pretty comfy and room a fair size.
The location was perfect for Manchester City centre. Lovely modern hotel, beautiful and clean. Rooms were huge and spacious and everything you would want
