Room was fantastic, could not fault cleanliness and set up. 2 Bedroom apartment was perfect. All amenities supplied. Only thing is being on the lower level, overhead noise with people above can be a problem. We will definitely be back though as 10/10 for cleanliness and linen, towels etc supplies good quality and very comfortable beds!

Tanunda is a lovely little town with a good selection of restaurants and shops. It has character and the locals were friendly. It has a cycle trail running through it which is good for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally. Getting around was easy, we walked to dinner and took a taxi to lunch outside town at Hentley Farm.

Tanunda’s a lovely place to visit and the perfect base for winery visits. Plenty of good eateries and choice of wine cellars in Tanunda itself. Ferment Asian restaurant is lovely and the Angus burger at Char Grill was cooked to perfection. Z wines does great tropical sangria jugs. Nosh cafe is a quirky place and a bit like a tardis with very friendly staff. Krondoff cellar staff very friendly and good wine choice. Visitor centre very helpful and definitely worth visiting to check out what is on in the area.

A nice town catering for travellers to the Barossa Valley.
A nice town catering for travellers to the Barossa Valley. A typical tourist town providing accommodation and many restaurants (some of dubious quality such as Char Barossa which is to be avoided at all costs), but a pleasant place to stay all the same. Very central to many of the wineries in the region.

Perfect base to visit the many wineries around Barossa.
Perfect base to visit the many wineries around Barossa. There is an abundance of great cafes and restaurants with 1918 and Bar Musque on the top of our list for dinner and Blackbird have incredible breakfasts. Everyone from the cafes to Foodland supermarket were so friendly and the passion they have for the Barossa, vineyards, local produce and history of the area is amazing. All cellar doors were exceptional with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bethany and Rockfords were outstanding. A visit to Maggie Beers Farm shop and the Chocolate Factory is also recommended and very enjoyable to relax and appreciate the surrounds. Easy cycling around Tanunda to enjoy the scenery at closer range was a lot of fun. Wonderful location with plenty more on offer than noted above.

Tanunda and Angaston are both beautiful towns.
Tanunda and Angaston are both beautiful towns. Good food, good wine and beautiful scenery. Strongly suggest Casa Caboni for a great authentic Italian meal. The Clubhouse accomodation was very modern, spacious and a guaranteed great night's sleep. Good dining facilities available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast isn't available but there are plenty of cafe options close by. Wineries are also great. Gibson and Willow are well worth a look (and taste). Best of all you don't have to buy a flight. You can drink what you like! 10/10
we ate out each day - quaint cottage that was very homely and suited our needs for a Barossa trip. Enjoyed being away from the main street of Tanunda as it was quiet, but we would probably choose to stay closer next time for a different experience. Lots of good information provided on local activities which we found helpful. We loved the historic link to the vineyard next door.
It feels like being home when staying at Barossa House. Sophia is a wonderful, warm and cheerful host.
She always has great recommendations on what to do, visit or just lounge at the house.
Breakfast is hearty and wonderful to be able to mingle with other travellers staying at her place. Nadia is also wonderful and helpful that made it a wonderful stay at Barossa House.
Great apartment in fantastic location. We arrived earlier than the check in time, wishing to leave our car and continue exploring on foot, but the room was ready and we were welcomed in. The apartment is spacious and contains everything you need. It was quiet. The bed comfortable. Walking distance to everything in the village of Tanunda.
Location is in the heart of Barossa and about 300m away from Chateau Tanunda. As we walked in to this lovely unit, heater and a few lamps were on to welcome us. Entire place was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Will definitely come back for next trip to Barossa ! Thank you Louise :)
Cabin had everything we needed for our time exploring Tanunda wineries and the surrounds. It was a great spot and nice and clean. I would definitely return to this accomodation. Thanks very much for having us!
spotless & clean, easy access to everything in the Barossa valley.Megan’s prompt responses.and all the generous & thoughtful offerings she added made it feel like we were staying at a good friends place.
Could walk to Tanunda shops, cafes & galleries. Clean. Comfy beds. New tiling in bathroom. Park under cover outside room. Good supply of cutlery & dishes so could eat in room. Lovely restaurant on site.
Our host Sophia was excellent. Helpful with a bubbly friendly personality. A nice breakfast was served on the patio. Location to Tanunda town and wineries was just a few minutes drive. Would stay again
Discovery Park is in a great location in Tanunda. Our cabin had good water pressure in the shower and the double bed was comfortable. The air conditioner provided a great cooling temperature.
Good location, handy to everything in the main street of Tanundra. Good size cottage, we were only 1 couple but would easily accommodate children as well. Nice and warm on a cold night.
Location was perfect - just at one end of the main street of Tanunda. Gorgeous yet simple little cottage on a quiet side street. Helpful to have washing powder for the machine too.
